Hey guys! TARPON here. Welcome to our blog :-)
We are a mother and teen daughter who share a love of food and cooking. We live in different cities and are on a mission to try, sample, taste, and cook foods from across the globe, even if we cant always physically travel worldwide. We hope other family members will join us on our adventures, too.
We chose the name for this blog of a fish that lives in the Atlantic and Indo-Pacific Oceans. (Our family lives on both US coasts and all across the country). It can thrive in fresh, brackish, and salt water, in open sea or in saltmarsh or river. These are habitats for our diverse, adaptable, and resilient family, too.
Also, it tastes good, too.
